Kate Nash discusses musicians rights with Paul McCartney (NME.com)

March 31, 2009

Kate Nash has revealed she recently debated the merits and shortcomings of the music industry over a cup of tea with Paul McCartney.

Who's roaring guitars?

March 30, 2009

From: Herald Sun

The sound of shrieking engines was replaced by roaring guitars at the Albert Park grand prix last night, when veteran rockers The Who took over the entertainment.

The band – formed in ex-pat territory Shepherd’s Bush, London – delighted old fans with some rarer numbers and played a strong set of classic hits too.

Roger Daltrey, not his fellow founding member Pete Townshend, performed the band’s trademark windmill guitar move first during their second song, The Seeker.

By KEVIN O’HARE

Music writer

Just because he’s the son of a Beatle doesn’t mean Dhani Harrison’s band is going to sound like a second generation, pale imitation of the Fab Four.
